Most routines stop at the jaw. The neck and chest have thinner skin — and they deserve their own minute.
Skin below the jawline is thinner and holds less moisture than the skin on your face. It also gets whatever cream is left on your hands — which is not much. That is often why the neck and chest are the first places skin looks dry or crepey.
The two-minute routine
- Apply a pump of cream to the base of your neck.
- Massage upward with flat hands, toward the jaw.
- Sweep across the chest and, if needed, the upper arms.
- In the morning, add sunscreen — the chest sees a lot of sun.
